NK-cells

The natural killer cells (NK-cells) are a lymphoid subset –different from B- and T-cells- which are essential as a part of innate immune response, but also collaborate in adaptive immune response.

NK-cells are identified by the expression of CD3-, TCR-, CD56+ and/or CD16+ in the cell surface. Additional markers are used for assessment of several immunophenotypic and functional parameters in circulating NK-cells, since their expression is linked to different pathologies.

Cytognos offers a full range of antibodies for the identification and evaluation of NK-cells by flow cytometry.
